Marina Kenny Tango Seminar in Pittsburgh April 9-12

Born in Lincoln, Buenos Aires. She discovered the tango at age 18 in the city of Rosario. Since then it has formed with the most recognized tango teachers of the country. He also studied modern dance, ballet and contact improvisation, and has been part in several investigation groups in body work. Is important to note that Marina is also Music therapist and Yoga instructor.

Since she moved to Buenos Aires in 2007, has taught regular lessons of tango and perform in recognized studios and milongas of the city, including Viva la Pepa Milonga, Practica X, Tango Brujo, Salón Canning, El Esquinazo and Milonga 10, amoung others.

For the last four years, she´s been working as a dancer and teacher in diferent countries like United States, Canada, México, Poland and China, where she has also participated in renowned festivals.

As a Performer she stands out for her refined technique, precision and expressiveness. Her knowledge of other artistic disciplines gives her a very personal style in the dancing. Respecting the traditional tango essence, she also dominates the most contemporary elements of this dance.

As a professional tango teacher she is clear and accurate in the technical concepts, and transmite her knowledge in a simple way, giving the students the necessary elements to express themselves freely.

Proprioception development through practice.

Build a sensitive and awake body. Recognize and master tone changes in the body and use them effectively.

Train the body in using bony and muscular chains, find the possibility of joint movement, allowing us to create internal spaces in the embrace and creating a clear and fluid communication with the other. A conscious presence in the very movement that translates into a full and with no stress embrace
