PGH TANGO
Our mission is to connect people through the passion of tango. PGH Tango offers group tango classes, private lessons, weekly practices, milongas and other events.
As of March 2026, PGH Tango is proudly operating as a nonprofit organization. This exciting milestone allows us to focus even more on building an inclusive, vibrant, and sustainable tango community in Pittsburgh.

Our 4-week New Beginner Session is underway, and there’s still time to join us! This welcoming series is designed for complete beginners and anyone who would like to build a strong foundation in tango.

No partner or previous experience is required. Come as you are and learn at your own pace!

Guided practice followed by social dancing

Come learn one of the most passionate dances of all time: Argentine Tango!
New beginner sessions start on the first Wednesday of every month.
BEGINNER CLASSES
CLASSES ARE FOR ADULTS OF ALL AGES.
In-person Progressive Beginner Monthly Session.
Tango is a wonderful way to socialize and meet new people while getting your exercise and expressing yourself through music. Classes focus on tango basics, including the tango walk, posture, embrace and dance floor navigation.
